Today, I was notified by my mom that ABC was trying to show two new programs. Both are related to Japanese game shows, which I am sure ya'll are familiar with due to YouTube.
As of this post, Wipeout is airing right now in my timezone. It reminds me of a very small and very boring version of Takeshi's Castle, known to us Americans as the "Most Extreme Elimination Challenge" (MXE). The announcers are boring, their puns suck and the competitors are either models or cops. Sure, the injuries look painful in the beginning, especially to the very unfit competitors. Now, it just looks boring and just have it on as background noise. Now they are going to this 'wipeout zone' that looks mean, but just tons of damn foam and fire. I am not a big fan of it. I have about 20 minutes to go before I see the second show, I Survived a Japanese Game Show. I'll blog about that as soon as it starts airing.
