Ok, so tomorrow came late, I apologize about that. Like I promised, I will write a review of the show.
When I first watched the show, I Survived a Japanese Gameshow, I thought it was a bit interesting. I saw the Americans going from LAX to Narita airport (which I will be there in about a week), they thought it was sweet. I also noticed they were spoken to in Japanese upon entering the show. The translations were right, but they used the most basic language. It seemed very formal, when presented to the untrained American. After being introduced to the show, they were taken to their house, where they went in and tried the food. They also dealt with a Mama-san (Okaasan, if you really use Japanese), who gave them a crash course in Japanese customs, language and also traditions. She also gets the people up and makes sure they eat, etc.
During the actual game shows, the two teams had to compete in events that I have seen on YouTube or on Keith Olbermann's show. The elimination game is similar in pain, but a little bit more messy than the first event. The eliminated contested seems to be escorted by men in dark suits, which I assume they are trying to be the Yakuza. I'll try and watch the show again on Monday, but I am going to miss a few episodes due to my trip to Japan.
Hopefully, I will try and post about the trip, or some tips for ya'll who wish to travel to Japan in the future. I'll post about money, safety and other issues that are the concerns of some travelers, and also finally get the straight answer about the cellphone issue.
